    HP = Torque * RPM/5252

    You can check them and any claim working with that equation, you just need the HP and Torque @ a given RPM. Otherwise your taking it all on faith.MCN is not good source for data they have your bike as a two-stroke?
    Does it have a DOHC? I could see a DOHC 4-valve 125 getting up there?

    Did you have your EFI removed and fitted with a carburetor a 25% increase would be very noticeable.

    when i was looking for a supermoto to buy, i did all my investigation online or via Rieju UK's official importer they sent me dynographs to prove the power gain that could be had, i saw videos of the difference the sound difference is also apparent.
    its SOHC, the Keihin 30mm carb is standard on all LC 125 rieju's, its a big difference when you have aextra 5bhp unlimiited on the bike it breathes better revvs quicker has more mid range-top end punch which i found not lacking at 15bhp but even better now. the torque is much better than a EFI Yamaha WR125X as that will only do 66mph(101KMh) in strong head winds and mine will do a easily 70mph(112KMH).
    MCN dont really spell check what they put out but when you actually meet the writers and testers they know there stuff like any informed biker especially the guy who tested my bike
