Anyone that would send a check to those people needs to have their head examined.

The website URL should be extreme-conartists.com

You have to find a valid source that is not a valid source.

You will not find the Lifan LF200iii for that price new. They stopped importing them at the 2009 model year. If you find them they will be in some Lifan dealers inventory.

    Well put i stand corrected.
Was never interested in the lf200 models.
3100 to me is a bit pricey for a bike with less power than some japanese counterpart i could get used in the states. But thr naked 250 is one incredibly good looking bike

Compare it to the Hyosung 250 the naked has an MSRP of $3,799.00, a 27.2hp @10,000rpm v-twin. Nearly 10hp more and only for an additional $699.00.

The LF250-19 is a sheep in wolfs clothing and should be priced accordingly, its MSRP should be $2,799.00 and if Lifan cannot get them into dealers stock for under $2,000.00...they should get out of the market.

That bike really should have at least 20hp and EFI…it’s a failure if it cannot be marketed and sold in china as well as exported to other markets.

That is were they go wrong offering models that do not have international marketability and not doing that out of one production line. That one production line should be feeding global distribution systems.

That model will not meet regulation for domestic sales and in that they failed to offer it to the largest market. The largest market being the Chinese market.

Maybe they should request some assistance from MV Augusta to improve the engine to meet higher standards? It is not impossible to get the engine to a higher standard they can justify doing that if they are targeting a global market.

They should not be developing anything that cannot be sold in china, it makes no sense to develop a model that cannot be sold into the largest market and them actually being in that largest market.

They have to price to make sales, they have to make sales to gain market shares. They need that to happen in china and in other markets with the same offerings.

Its pretty safe to say that one element of the Lifan business model is engine production. Within Lifans production of engines is the V-250. Some of those engines are utilized in Lifan production motorcycles as a percentage of the total number manufactured. The other V-250 are sold to others manufacturers for their production motorcycles.

The entire engine supply as the entire production of V-250 could be directed into Lifan production models and not sold to others. If the engine was refined to attain the same output as the original and through EFI then Lifan would have a unique offering. That could be packaged in a variety of unique configurations.
