Try this, it's in baidu maps though! Google is total crap lately!

The route displayed is from 798 to Jialing!

I didn't know you were such a wimp! What are you going to do when it starts to get COLD??
I am keeping fairly toasty right now: XXL Frank Thomas cordura jacket which allows for lots of layers, long johns, balaclava, 2 neck warmers, hiking socks, hiking boots. The hands are the main problem, though. Went to the Russian market yesterday to see if they had anything in fur or sheepskin - still looking. I miss the heated grips I had in UK! Might look into putting some on my bike, but given the quality of the other accessories, I am not optimistic.
Bike is going fine in the cold. The hardest thing is contemplating doing any work on it with freezing hands!

Pretty serious, if a glass breaks in your hand while turning it. Nice L-shape cut at the bottom of my thumb, 4 stitches!

Did you get the same jacket as me? It sure is nice and warm, and needs to be taken off soon after you get of the bike!

I think my bike is doing better than in summer;) I'm going to buy this ugly chinese handprotectors in 10rmb shop for my long trip to Jialing shop. I dont think it will be much colder. Last year it was about this tempreature + plus wind sometimes that makes it feel like -40.
BTW, it was on the trip that i bought that blue ribon bear and you said it has some opinion in US? I just saw a preview of south park episode White trash in trouble, i think i know what u mean ;)

No - I brought my jacket from UK. Never thought I would wear it again, but very glad of it now.
Let me know if those crappy hand protectors keep out the wind.
I saw some dodgy-looking DIY heated grip accessories on TaoBao for 15RMB:

as your bike is a bit of a TaoBao express, you should try them out!
I look forward to having a Pabst Blue Ribbon with you sometime!

Worth a try for only 15 RMB, just hope it doesn't work to good and melts your grips onto your gloves! Perhaps you can add a few in your seat too!
