I agree with 998s and ChinaV.Way to much hassle for to little improvement.

Would you not have to put a new exhaust system and airbox on to?

My friend is always over modifying all the bikes he gets. They never run right.

Well. I am kind of cautious when it comes to P&P solutions, too. After all, P&P turns out to be a lot of adjusting work most of the times (with computers at least).

But I wonder how a bike not C3 compliant bike with an efi kit would be treated by Chinese registration authorities. As far as I understood, the manufacturer has to go through the process of C3 approval. But maybe ther is a way to get a single bike that is equipped with such a kit approved? That would be a solution to many of MCM members problems with registering >150cc bikes...

Why do I feel that it is more fun to discuss these Squareback's, then the replacement EFI . GREAT cars, you should wish you still had one!

Thanks for all the opinions and info guys.

I need to convince my wife that i need a few things for Christmas

I live in southern Missouri if you're not familiar with the layout and seasonal pattern here. The weather is crazy in the facy that we can almost get all four seasons in one week. Lol. So i was just curious as to "the experts" views on the kit

And i dont believe you would need a new exhaust or air box from what I've read.

During my recent visit I saw quite a few Type IIIs in California, where as you probably know cars do not rust. You can still get Squarebacks in good condition for $5k or less.

Ooooh, and I saw the sweetest Karmann-Ghia in Marin County. Those were all carbureted to my knowledge, but surely could be retrofitted with the Bosch EFI!
