Hey guys firstly im new to MCM and im quite enjoying the read along with the pics.

Im in the market for a new dualie for mostly road and very little dirt. I have had birt bikes all my life and i wanna start hitting the road

I dont have a great deal of cash and im a larger kinda guy about 120kg, i was looking at the kinlon 200cc bikes
The motard is my prefered version but its not very easy to get brand new in AUS. or the Road Trail

    (Motard)

    ( Road Trail )

Firstly is my size going to make this bike useless for me. (120kg 6ft 2")Need it to travel to work at around 70-80 kph for about a year untill im off my leraners. But i dont really want a bike that looks way to small, or one that wont climb small hills.. apparently its a full size bike and the seat hieght is right for me) and has a max wieght of 150kgs

Full spec sheet found here http://www.kinlon.com.au/specs

and secondly if i cant get the motard version can i get the same look and simalar feel out of the RT by getting dual-sport slicks or even geting the 17" motard wheels?
Cheaper is better for me as its only ment to last a yr untill i can get something more powerful.

and lastly (for now that is) keeping in mind im able to get the
kinlon 200cc RT deliverd to my house ready to register for under $2100 Does it seem like im making the right choice? Have I over looked a bike you know of?

Thank you for your time and if those pics dont work all i did was a google img search on kinlon 200cc

i would say motard as there much smoother and handle better plus the tyres will last longer saving you more in the long term, it will be smaller for sure being smaller wheeled, depends on how you want to look on the bike personally being able to get massive amounts of confidence on road tyres would suffice buying the motard, i think the MCM member Jape ownes one of these

have you considered the Atomik Fuse 250 i know Atomik have a bad reputation for service but the bike itself is actually a Galaxy XTR 250 (actually 223cc honda based engine) and tehre allot of information about this bike here its bigger cc its abit more $ wise but its a bigger bike for sure

Yeah i looked at the atomik, and it cant be registerd in my state. only recreational rego possible.

Thank you for the great advice, I think i might buy the raod trail and put motard wheels on it, as the motard is so much harder to come by here

    Thanks again.

ahh i see thats a shame the atomik cant be registered in sydney, does the ever popular Qinqgi Liger QM200 not sell in australia it comes in many many brand names all over the world im not sure if it is sold in australia though its a very simple suzuki engined supermoto or enduro bike
