Qianjiang Motor has new offerings….they are developing their Generic brand name. Which by the way is one of worst brand names for internet marketing, actually its just a terrible brand name in general.

None the less the models are not terrible they are actually very unique and kind of stylish.

They moved up to 200cc on the sport standard, that model also offered under their Keeway brand as well.

The Generic is called a CODE S, its name could get you a reputation for being cryptic…when people ask what is that and you reply it is a Generic Code. Makes you wonder if the any of the people behind all this have the last name Duchey and would they choose Ruber as a name for their child?

Anyway….here it is the Generic Code S 200

They actually make fairly attractive bikes, but Generic is just a terrible name, agreed. What is next the Bland 125?

    Dear MJH,

Nice finds. That Code S is an interesting looking bike.

Any way you can fix the title of this thread? There's a typo in Qianjiang (possibly caused by your spellchecker), so anyone searching the site for that brand will not find it. Qian (钱) means money and Jiang (江) means river. Will these Generic bikes become a river of money for Qianjiang aka QJiang?

    thanks again, and cheers!

According to Benelli their motorcycle range for 2012 will be renewed, refined and enriched with new models.

The first new product is the Motard 250 developed by Benelli QJ for the world’s emerging markets, but released in Italy with the clear objective of attracting a younger set of buyers to motorcycling in a critical moment where cost-awareness is at its maximum.

It will have a brand-new liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. Lightweight and easy to maneuver, it’s the right choice for buyers looking for the sweetest riding pleasure at the right price. The model will be available next year second half.

The TR 125 SM Generic is already being advertised and also is sporting a water cooled single….

Maybe I am wrong….maybe the people at Qianjiang are wrong as well to assume that there is a demand for stylish small displacement motorcycles in china.

Here is a new model they developed…called the Dragon and yes it is a 125cc.

Seems one of our admins/moderators fixed the thread title. You can change the title in the title of an individual post, as I've done here.

    Thanks!

i kinda dig it although the 125cc is too small for my needs a 250+ would better suit that ride

Note to anyone considering a visit to China:

You must realize we have different gravity here in the Middle Kingdom, and that centrifugal force pushes riders to the inside of a turn rather than the outside. Please prepare for this fluke of nature. Just as when you cross the English channel and need to remember to "stay left" to avoid oncoming traffic, when you come to China you have to remember to lean to the outside of the turn rather than the inside to avoid muffing the turn, as elegantly demonstrated by this celestial kneedragger on his QJiang.

Actually, it's not a fluke of nature. It's normal. Leaning into the curve, as it's done in the rest of the world, is the aberration. TIC.
    cheers!
