    Hi All,

i am working on our next CJ trip...
I am thinking about driving from China to Vietnam or better from China to Laos (is it possible ?).

Any of you has any experience in doing it ? or better any of you know somebody there who can arrange hassle-free border crossing ?

    Thanks

    Antoine

    Hi Antoine,

3 months back I drove my Jialing from Shanghai to Laos. I met a Motorcycle tour group in Luangprabang, they new for fact it is not possible
to enter Vietnam with a "havy" motor bike.

This CNY Im driving the Jialing from China/Lao/Thailand/Cambodia/Thailand/Lao/China.

They didn't "know" anything, they assumed something. It is absolutely 100% possible to enter Vietnam with a motorcycle, however, it is VERY expensive.

    Cheers!
