Somebody by the name of Daifer submitted for the application, it was ok’d and is listed with the EPA as a 2011 certified model.
DAFIER, INC.
1100 Jefferson Davis Highway
Richmond, VA 23224
(804) 231-5811dafierusa.com
I really do not know what the cost of one of the bikes is, could be maybe, $1,250.00-$1,500.00 each? Then the more you buy the lower the price, that is or would be the cost to a wholesaler.
An order of 100 would cost in the area of $125,000.00
I suppose it would be possible to order the bikes from the factory with a decal that has the EPA certificate on it, I believe that Qingqi owns the brand name Daifer?
I would not trust the application to the EPA, not if somebody else submitted it, who ever did takes responsibility for it and its legitimacy or illegitimacy. Most attorneys would say your exposing yourself to too much risk.
There is very little risk in selling two units…..selling 100 would have 100 times the risk and penalties are based on how many sold…if the application submitted to the EPA was not factual and accurate, whoever is selling them is exposed to that liability, to fines and penalties, they all share in that risk.
So even though nobody owns the certificate, the name on it has rights and also the use of it has liability.

12-01-2011, 01:06 AMHow about calling that number listed in your post: (804) 231-5811?
See who answers and in what accent!
In any case, this is more of the same nonsense from the Chinese manufacturers. "We make bikes. We don't care who uses them or where. Just so long as someone sells them. And don't come back complaining about the quality. We don't care about service or customers. Not our problem."

The company is "Farsmotor" and the brand is "Pishro" and the model name is "GOLD 250" but u cant find any Qingqi labels any where on the bike since all the specifications except the
fuel injection system are the same with Qingqi liger 250 models .they use a small 30mm TK carb on these models

I had called that number a few years ago. They had somehow become the official Qingqi distributors; I think 'Crazy Carl' gave me their number. I phoned, a guy answered "hello" and was not too pleasant. It turned out that they only accept calls during a 4 or 5 hour window of time as 'Qingqi' and the rest of the time they distribute child porn (ok, I made that up to insult the s, LOL). No, the guy told me that they only sell to official dealers (as if I couldn't have been a dealer, DUH!! ). Overall, I would have rated them a 0 out of 10 at the time. Maybe now they migh have moved up to a 2 out of 10
nima naderi--thank you for clarifying my questions--it seems interesting that they removed all the Qingqi identification--perhaps Iran does not require a manufacturers statement of origin ?

Suzuki is not offering the DR200SE in the USA for 2012, no new DR200 are available from prior model years.
You can get a new GZ250 as they are still in stock they are 2009 and 2010 models, not offered for 2011 or 2012.
TU250 is available in 2012 model years, they raised the price to $4,099.00, 2011 models have an MSRP of $3,999.00. The 2009 are all sold out, that would be the version with a silver frame and dark red tank.
Suzuki’s sales are way down for motorcycles, their line shrunk the only new offering in the USA is the revised V-strom.

Called JP Motorsports and spoke to 'Smitty' the head sales guy. He said they just sold 1 bike to a guy in Rosarito Beach, Mexico, about 30 minutes south of their dealership. According to him, they are evaluating these bikes to see how reliable they are; they were one of the biggest Qlink XF/XP 200 dealers, and now that Qlink is either out of them, not selling them, or a combination of both, they wanted to see how the 250 engine compares. Hopefully it is reliable, and they will sell bunches of them!
