    Could catch the bus.Just like me.Only 1rmb.

They wanted me to drive down to Urumqi today. No way. I say I'd like to live to see another day.

Trust me you don't want to go out on the highway or the main back roads between towns.Really bad things happen there.

Good day to stay home drink beer.

-3 and I'm still riding... But there is a huge difference between riding because I want to and because I have to...

Still riding daily to commute (0 to 1 degree Celsius in Shanghai now around 7AM), and I went to Moganshan again last week (-2 degrees Celsius in the mountains at 8AM).

I have to say though that without heated grips or handguards, the most difficult for me is the hands and especially the fingers.... In the mountains last Friday I had to stop every 30mn or so to put my hands on the engine. It took 2 days back home to retrieve full feelings on the finger tips...
The ride back to Shanghai, with stretches at 110 km/h, was painful to say the least... Without handguards, I will not do it again.

Really it's all about clothing technology. Tens of thousands of people work in freezers at -18c all over the world in distribution centers, and some even do long shifts. Other people work outside in Alaska, Canada, Russia etc at temperatures far colder than that, -30 and below.

So really it all comes down to what you are wearing as far as temperature goes, although ice and snow creates a dangerous road environment all of its own.

Still commuting here in BJ, only problem is fingertips after a while (only time I look forward to stopping at a traffic light). Rest of my body doesn't feel cold at all.

After getting annoyed about riding in faked and "no feeling" skiing north face gloves I did a purchase and had a "test" ride for my new gloves last Sunday here in BJ at about -3 deg C.
Result: good grip feeling for brake & clutch, still acceptable temperature after 50km riding, fast warm up again after stopping a moment, f.... expensive
Anyway I can recommend it for riding all year in BJ.
