Well the Trail 70 is just to small for her, so we sold it to my neighbor-friend who lives next door for his twin 13 YO daughters. Never seen a pair of girls smile so much while they were riding it. Put 30 miles just riding in on the dirt roads around the house.

What I am looking at is a 150cc GY6 with a CVT and reverse. The same one that ATV Discounter offers as the Hensim 150cc, http://www.atvdiscounter.com/ATVs/Si...oductInfo.aspx . I like the size, and will still fit on that custom trailer I built with a bit of minor moding.

She knows how to operate a stick, and has spent quite a few miles on our 1984 Kawi KLT200 3 Wheeler. With no suspension, it isnt a comfortable trike to ride.

Maybe you have a few options, or thoughts on it. She needs a mid-large size ATV. Dont want to spend over $1k delivered, and want to stay away from a brand that parts will be near impossible to get.

Any other ideas guys?! Thanks in advance!!

    USMC,

I went to the biggest dealership in the Northern VA area and they carried this brand called E-Ton which is apparently a Taiwanese company that also manufactures in China. Anyway, from all accounts, they make some good products including scooters and ATV's.

I havent' heard this brand come up on MCM before and didn't know miuch about it. Although not 100 percent Chinese (as China does consider Taiwan as part of China) I figure they're worth mentioning and following on here because apparently parts are readily available and they direct market! Imagine that!

I'll be doing more digging into them as time goes by but if you have a chance to look into them, let us know what you think.

This is company I have been looking at recently Killer Quads . They have a great rating with BBB, and offer the unit with the Zongshen motor as well as backup kick start. I have read on other forums that you dont want the unit with the intergrated reverse, but rather the unit with the reverse in the rear axle. Also many manufactures dont offer it with the kick start, and these unlike the semi-autos as well as manuals will not take to a bump start. With the amount of rural riding we do (remember the pictures), I dont want to have to worry about her riding home for the jumper box on the back of my Viva.

BTW, did I mention I really miss the CT-70. Even being 6'6" tall, I still had a blast riding it........ <-Well it didnt look like that but rather the old saying of a Monkey and a football..

Hey Culcune.. Mama came home with a Russian M44 the other day. Got it at the flea market in Prescott for $50, man does that thing kick, but it has a built in Bayonet. If you miss the Elk kill shot, you can always stab it to death..

Oops CC forgot to mention we have a dealer 100 miles from the house for the bike you presented. Will give them a call in the morning. Wont be back from active duty till the 30th, but want to jump on it (no pun intended) ASAP. She needs something for scouting Elk this December.
