#1 Recreational countryside riding in China01-11-2012, 09:51 AM
I'm thinking of buying a quad for recreational use in the countryside. I was wondering if anyone living in one of China's cities a) has a quad and b) uses it to ride around the countryside. If so how do you get it to the countryside or do you leave it in the countryside with a friend and just go out and pick it up when you want to ride.
I live and work on the outskirts of Chongqing and could leave it at work I guess. I just don't know how to get to the rough around Chongqing without having to negotiate the road network.
Then there's the question of whether our friends in blue or green will take a dim view of a laowai riding around the countryside. I'd hate to stumble across a secret training camp. Do those of you that get out in the countryside on 2 wheels or 4 ever end up staring down the wrong end of a barrel?Chongqing
