I went out on a mtb ride today and saw a gaggle of old police and army sidecars rotting away in a yard. Most were pretty far gone with lots of bits missing, one of the army ones looked all together. Some had cast wheels and others had pressed steel riveted wheels. I would be intrested to know how old they are.

I also went past a police compound with hundreds of ebikes and scooters locked up, they also had buses, trucks, construction equipment and dozens of cars including a nice black Range Rover Sport.

They almost achieve that circular fashion statement ... "It is so ugly, it becomes cool"

Age? Well, the plastic-Changs which appear to have not had the body parts/wheels fall off (yet) are probably less than 2 years old.

A very good friend of mine has one of the early 24hp engined side car, painted the typical military green. He is often away travelling the globe with hsi business commitments, so I'm the one who rides it the most. He's a neighbour not far from my villa, so I have my own key and take his hack for a spin from time to time... it's ok, a bit of a laff, but not something I'd be into owning or buying myself. I had a friend back overseas who had a VMax side car (outfit) which I rode from time to time, also not something that I'd go out of my way to buy. Was nice enough to ride, but takes more work to do so than a two wheeler. Have another friend, who races a fully worked GSXR1100 outfit... his wife is the swinger!
Go on you know you wanna get your mind in that gutter...
