09-11-2008, 03:52 PMHi guys
Before he left Mainland China, Crazy Carl sent me an ADLO 928 top box.
I have managed to loose the spare key and find a blank to be unavailable here in the US. (I have tried two locksmiths). Hours of searching hasn't given me any good leads either.
Are blank keys available there in China? Would it be possible for someone to buy a couple and send them to me? With the blank, I could have a new key cut locally.
I would, of course, pay all costs involved upfront
Thanks in advance
Tom

Can you publish pics (both sides) of your key? This will help to check at a local locksmith.

I believe these should be the exact same keys. Do you know how wide the blanks are Tom?

09-12-2008, 04:47 PMthe top of the key is .9 cm wide. the length is approx. 2.5 cm.
Your camera is better than mine. That is the exact same key.
In fact, that is the same key, cut and all. your key would work in my lock.

Although this would not be as cool or certain as having the original ADLO blanks...I'm thinking one of these Ilco's might work. Funny thing is the two images images don't exactly match up. Others have reported these work on the JCWhitney brand cases which are not ADLO's but may very likely use the same basic lock system.
