Hello i have a 09 tmec 200. It will not idle properly when cold and stalls when cold. really hard to get it going. After it heats up its fine. To get it to run when cold i need to crank the idle way up. If i use the choke it wont run. The carb is 100% clean, i checked it well. I think it is running too rich. Anyone know how to adjust the carb? Which way is richer and which is leaner? any help is greatly appreciated. PS bike is brand new 40 miles on it.

I had a carb with the same issue. Mine was a different type.
Mine had a golden screw which regulate air-fuel mixture.

    Here is what i did:
1.Turn clockwise the idling screw nut (upside down screw) let it be at 2500-3000rpm
2.Turn the gold crew clockwise to increase air intake in the carb and observe the rpm dial and keep turn until it is stable.
3.Return to ideal rpm and check if its okay.

    Hope it works.

    I have a CCW Heist with a PZ30 carb. Here's what I know...

The A/F screw is on the bottom of the carb on the motor side, hidden under a rubber cap. It is a fuel screw, turning it in will lean the mix, backing it out will richen. 1 1/2 turns out from fully seated is a good starting point. The screw on the side is the Idle speed.

If you have a tach set the idle a bit higher, then turn the fuel screw in and out a half turn at a time to find the highest RPM. Once found, you can then back the screw out an extra quarter turn to slightly richen it up. Then return the idle to normal.

Also, the choke... Are you using it backwards? I been there lol.

Make sure that the air filter isn't blocked, check the foam element in the air box for excessive ammounts of dirt.
