    Sounds great.

I was looking at the X100, a friend of mine here has it. If you are looking for another point and shoot I can highly recommend the Canon s95 (or maybe the s100 now). Great low light, and it even has a dedicated aperture ring, and and wheel for shutter speed. I use it in manual mode and it is pretty functional, for its size. I bought it as a back up for my Canon 5d Mark2, which I didn't want to lug around PAP everyday if i wasn't going out to shoot something.

who makes the PS7100? I googled it, but didnt come up with anything.

    P7100. Sorry. It's a nikon.

I'll check out the canon. I've always loved my nikons, and switching teams would hurt a bit.... haha

The s95 looks good. Super fast lens! The P7100 is comparable to the Canon G series cameras.

Those PowerShot s95 and s100's are looking good. Now, can I find a Nikon equivalent?

Looked up cameras today. The s100 blows away everything Nikon makes. Nothing comes close. Nikon still makes better dslr's, but it looks like I'll have to switch teams. With gps, dslr features, stupid high ISO, and it's tiny size, I can't think of a better camera.

Yeah, the 101 is do-able. It was really rough on my stock Haojin 125-A. I want to do it again, next time I plan to get knobby tires and a bigger rear sprocket. Either that or pick up one of those Kayak 250cc's sold at Moto Tech in P-Ville.
The stairs were a bit scary going down, but I loved that trip.

I would love to see some Go-Pro footage of mountainous driving or even spirited driving through traffic in Haiti!! All of the Youtube videos are either bad quality or done with a handheld.

Good luck on your trip and keep me updated, I would love to see photos/video!

Alexanderrx- While I could argue with your assessment of canon vs nikon dslr's, i shall not. BUT, the Canon s100 is super, i can testify to that. And I agree on the size, I often keep it in my pocket all day with no problems. Its pretty much perfect.

Interstate- here is a video i shot last week with a gopro in PAP.

    Hey Kohl,
If you're looking to sell after your trip - I'm thinking about getting a bike. Let's connect!

Fantastic video Benjamin. The Lifan looks like the perfect vehicle for PAP, great for skin-of-your-teeth lane-splitting/filtering!

We need a VPN to view here inside the China firewall, but well worth the effort. Thanks for sharing!
