Hi, I found a 250cc engine (169fmm) on taobao for just under £200 and it comes with the CDI and everything! The only problem is it weighs over 30kg which apparently costs over £300 to ship to the UK so I was wondering if there are any cheaper ways to have it delivered? For £300 I might as well go to China and pick it up my self.

You sure you can't find that engine somewhere in Bulgaria?

    Have you tried Taobao Focus?

    Good Luck!

Hmmm thats a bit better, the cheapest was just under £250 according to their pricing system, maybe large packages are even cheaper. I still don't think it's worth it though, I've seen cheaper 250cc engines sold in the UK reciently but thanks for your help anyway guys.

Surely you've tried this online parts house there in the UK, right? Can't they get what you want?

    cheers!

They do have the 250cc twin cylinder but that's £700 and I don't think it includes all the extras that the one on taobao has. They do sell 250cc chinese engines elsewhere in the uk but they are of simular price.

Have you dealt with the Taobao dealer before? Just because they say they have something or supply pictures or you just saw a picture and they say, yeah it comes everything, just be wary... very wary. There are plenty of non-existent products offered for sale on Taobao, but in reality the product does not exist or sometimes worse, you might be dealing with a middle man and not the manufacturer who knows little of what the product can and can't do and/or what it comes complete with. Just be warned. In China, often nothing is as it seems.

Do you have a link for the engine you're looking at on taobao?
