    Flyger,

That's a great question. Last I heard they had only priced and produced it for export only so in theory it's not for sale in China yet. If I or anyone else hears anything we'll likely see the update posted.

    South Africa: R 22000-00
    USA: $ 2100-00
    China : 19000Yuan ( Estimate )

    Regards

This email just from the factory, "Dear Sir,
Our GY250 is available in China and Hongkong market.
    Regards!
    SARA".

At 19,000 RMB, it would be cheaper to buy one in America, send it back to China, and pay the duty to import it into the country.

Hi all Prices are expected retail.

Remember the 250cc market is mainly focusing on International market Not Local That is why these bikes re expensive there is how ever a possibility that the 250 range will be cheaper for an introduction price.

    I will confirm with Factory

That e-mail states the GY250 is available? Is it the QM250-2D or the QM250GY-B(ASD)? Are they both 19,000 Yuan?

According to the dictionary, "Available" means "able to be used or obtained". I would like to know the address and phone number for the store I can go to and obtain a new QM250GY-B(ASD) to use in China.

Since I'm a nobody in the eyes of QingQi, and have yet to ever receive a reply to my e-mails or telephone calls , maybe you guys could ask one of the QQ people to help a brother out and actually take delivery of one their new products. Along with the bike, I will need a vast assortment of parts so I can switch between motard, dualsport, and rock versions.

    Cheers!

What I've got is an offer for one of you guys to purchase from Jinan an orange (Probably "Liger") 250GY w/ F/R disk brakes and USD forks that will be on display at the Canton Fair in April. (Purchase in May)

Price is less than less than 10kRMB and would be good if someone would provide thorough photo, tech and riding report of the bike which could benefit us here as well as the RnD folks at QingQi.

Caveat is it can not be licensed. These are test bikes and only ten are currently available. They are apparently NOT available for sale yet in China as they are testing them for safety and strength.

    Anyone game?

I am game for the offer as long as I can get dirt wheels. I will thoroughly cover the whole experience here at MCM. Just give me a time, place and phone number and I will show up with a truck and the cash.

    Thanks CC

    Cheers!
