Hi. I've bought this exhaust can and like an idiot I thought that it wouldn't be stupidly loud, I put it on my bike and it sounded like a machine gun at just 2k revs and I didn't dare drive anywhere. I was going to try and return it but before I do I'd like to see if there's anything that can be done to quiet it down to less silly (and legal) levels. I've seen these db killers on eBay and Amazon, are they very effective or not? Are there any options aswell?

only real thing you can do is to fit steel wool to muffle it but requires taking the silencer apart

I got it sorted now, I just bought a DB killer, wrapped it in baffle wool, bolted it in and it works brilliantly! It's much more quiet now. The new exhaust looks much nicer than the stock exhaust, it's lighter and it's given me better acceleration and a few mph top end, I'm very happy with it.
