still no spark

hi all, bin away for a while on other projects,
My gy125/ cg125 clone x-stream dirt classic still has no spark, I have changed lots of bits including the stator. The bike is reg as 2005 however the engine looks to be @ 1999/2001 kick only, it has an eight pole stator 5 wires, three for the lights etc and two blue and white from pick up and red black from the stator, when I turn the bike over I get volts reading from the stator to cdi I have no volts reading from the cdi. I did a check on the primary side of the coil by removing the multiplug from the cdi inserted one probe into the yellow/black connector the wire goes to the coil, set my multimeter to the lowest ohm setting 200ohms the second probe to ground. Got reading of 7.4 is this to high? secondary side check one probe into the plug cap and the other one to ground and got no readings should this be, where do i go from here
