    lcilliers,

One of the difficulties of this site is that it's relatively new (only 6 months by now) and tries to include Chinese motorcycle riders/industries from all over the world. Since there are hundreds of manufacturers and this is multiplied by hundreds more importers (and bike badges) in various countries, it's sometimes hard to find info and experiences on particular bikes.

As far as I know, you're the first poster (maybe in most of cyberspace) to ask about this bike. One one hand that's discouraging but on the other hand, it's a great opportunity for a person to start a chain of knowledge and get some info/experiences about the bike into the world community so that others may also learn.

Some folks are up for it while others aren't. This is totally understandable as it takes a good amount of energy and time to make even one really well composed, informative and attractive post.

Either way, I'd like to hear (and/or see) more about your new ride if you have the time.

    Paz,
    CC

Besides the smallish tank, that's pretty sweet! Water cooled with both electric/kick start is not too common in C-Motos.

Is the engine counter balanced and how much was it? Where did you get it and what are the warranty/parts availability like?

    Sorry for more questions!

I must agree the tank is a bit small, this means I will be refueling on a daily basis.
I am not sure if the engine is counter balanced, the bike was about $1800 USD. I bought it from Adrenalin Bikes here in Pretoria,South Africa, but it is imported by a company here called Big Boy Scooters, they provide a 1year warranty on the bike and support the product with spares. I must say these guy's have provided me with great service so far and spares does not seem to be a problem, I had a oil leak on my rear shock when I got the bike and they replaced the shock without any delay and much appologies.

I have now replaced my front and rear wheel bearings as a precaution, my past experience with chinese bikes have tought me that they do not use the best bearings around, I paid $13 USD for 4x new TIMKEN bearings. I have also ordered a blank 34-Teeth rear sprocket(it comes out with a 42T), as there is no standard Japanese Bike sprocket that fits. This should add an extra 27kph to the Top Speed of the bike.

WOW! 42 to 34T! That's definitely going to give you longer legs. I hope the spacing between gears will not be too long.

Glad to see the dealer gives you good support on the bikes as that's a VERY serious component that is missing in the US. Sounds like both South Africa and Denmark have the US beat on C-Moto parts availability and support.
