Honda has been manufacturing motorcycles in China since 1982, currently has over 20,000 employees within its sixteen joint ventures. In 2010 Honda manufactured 1,580,000 motorcycles in China.


Jialing is a Honda partner, however the are not manufacturing Honda branded motorcycles.

Wuyang is a Honda partner and they manufacture this bike in China.

I personally think that the Cargo with a 223cc engine and Honda PGM-FI with some more upgrades could be a top seller globally, upside down forks, disk front brake. Honda is not developing the 223cc engine in China, or it does not seem to be at this time. Jialing however is developing that engine they may want to consider offering it in a more utilitarian form like the Cargo.


Honda does manufacture a standard with that 223cc engine, the CB223, however the Cargo has some attributes the CB223 does not. A larger fuel tank for one and also the dual rear shocks are more fitting on this style bike.


A cargo with a two passenger seat would be more appealing to some. Basically a combination of the two would likely appeal to many. The larger tires of the CB223 and disk brake. The same seat and rear fender as the CB223 but thicker .

In October happens in the Hall Two Wheels Brazil, Wednesday motorcycling. The Traxx, the company that sells the bikes Brazil Jialing present the TRS 230. Will be sold in Brazil in 2014. Hugs!

I got the bike!

I got the Jialing 223 enduro model. It is a second hand one, first registered more than a year ago. BUT: it is carburetted instead of EFI. I had ordered a new one last year but the reply from the factory always was: not out yet, will be available soon....

It is strange: the engine seems to work fine, also with EFI, in the street models. And the enduro frame seems a good build as well. So why can't they bring the EFI enduro model to the streets?

Don't have time to thoroughly test the bike until beginning of May but first impression is goooood. Very smooth engine and transmission.

You can buy these new in china now, they are probably selling quite a few of them. Jailings ventures in Brazil and Turkey are failing miserably. Jialings management is simply not that insightful or creative and also seem to not have a good understanding of economics either. Basically they suck.

Jialing is offering its X-Fire in Columbia for $2,600.00

The distributor in Columbia is Zagacol , they are also distributing for Qingqi and UM, under the manufacturers brand names individually.
