Victory in China

It has happened … Victory motorcycles has come to China, opening its first store in Beijing on May 12, 2012.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t make the Grand Opening, which is sad, because it was attended by lots of people, including Arlen Ness, and his son Cory.

Anyways, I made it the next day … and here is what I saw …

I will get prices within a week, or so ... I don't think Victory was quite ready to open by the May 12 target date.

Expect prices to be high, somewhat comparable to Harley, I guess.

Sorry I don't have any pics myself, but you can see the Ness boys and some parts of their bikes.

By the way, any more specific directions on the location of the store? Seems it's too new to find it in either Google or Baidu maps.

The new location is in an unusual location. It is tucked into one of the expat ghettos (Dragon Villas) out in Shunyi, close to the International School of Beijing (ISB).

Using Google Maps, type in the following and press Enter

I think that also works with Baidu maps (not sure)

Awesome, thanks Lao Jia Hou! Looking forward to checking it out, hopefully this weekend. No worries going to the middle of nowhere. I enjoy getting out past the 5th ring when an excuse comes up.
