Hey guys, thought I'd mention I am here on the forum with my twin Legacy and V5. I also have a Geely 97cc cheater. It was one of Geely's banned 2003 imports coming in as a 49cc, but having a 152FM Linahi/Yamaha 97cc planted in the 140QMB CVT. Wonder why they got in trouble for that?

My Geely 50QT "50cc" 50+ mph gps verified.

    My 2009 Qlink Legacy

    My 2006 CF Moto V5

I'm not a "specialist" on CF Moto, but having two of them and doing all the work on them I might can be of assistance to anyone that has an issue. :)

Your V5 is beautiful love the black paint on the tank. When I buy mine I want to get it painted like yours. Also saw your youtube video with the CF Moto V5 exhaust, what exactly did you do to make it so loud?

That video was when the baffles were out of the can. It was close to a complete hollow pipe that night, and the vid was just to document the noise. I built the baffle plates back up to 4, there are originally 6 total. Makes your bike more peppy to get some restriction out of it, and also more fun to drive when you can hear it.

Aww I see, well when I purchase this motorcycle I will have to do that. Sounded great. Want to make the CF Moto V5 my first motorcycle. Love the black paint on the tank you have on yours as well as on the fender.

Thank you, well if you were in Chattanooga you could have one of mine. I just put one on Craigslist. Can't ride them both and one just ends up sitting.

On the exhaust it seems if you have SOME back pressure you'll be fine so choose a muffler you like and have it custom welded to your CF muffler flange when you get one. It'll be hard to go wrong long as you let some pressure remain. It's real purpose will be to allow enough baffle to keep cold air from getting back in and warping the valves.
