A week ago, I saw a clip on Youtube with more than non-informative title - "New Chinese Motorcycle"

    Google has found a manufacturer's (also more than non-informative) website - http://micantech.com/en/home.asp

A further search gave some results. A few photos and some information I found here: http://www.motorcycle.in.th/forum/vi...showtopic=2967 and http://www.motorfans.com.cn/bbs/t_17254666.htm

    Somewhere I found this description:

FEATURE AND ADVANTAGES OF THE FRONT END SYSTEM

    A rational structure.
    1. The front wheel is joined to the chassis on 2 points.
    2. On a conventional front fork motorcycle, the wheel is joined to the chassis by only 1 point.
    3. The front wheel links is a deformable element.
    4. The actions on the wheel is transmitted to the shock by the upper triangle and the lower triangle thru a linkage.
    5. 3 points which are far enough from each other.
    6. Better safety compared to a telescopic fork.
    7. Trunk on the fuel tank.
    8. Single/double seat adjustable.
    9. European Quality.

Which advantages in comparison with a telescopic front fork?
    1) A better distribution of stress to the frame.
    2) A good rigour of guiding.
    3) No change of wheelbase under braking or bumping. ( No shimmy).
    4) Suspension and steering are totally independent.
    5) The motorcycle can steer easily under hard braking and heavy weight.
    6) On the fully adjustable model, you can easily change the rake, the trail, the wheelbase, the trim… etc, independantly and without any change of parts.
    7) The double triangle rigidity allow the motorcycle to have an incredible braking power.
    8) The braking distances are reduced of 50%.

As you can see, on some photos this bike is branded as Su(c)kida. On their website ( http://www.sukidacycle.com/Enhtml/index.html ), there is no mention of this model. Does anyone know anything more about this motorcycle?

    No.
Jinc heng was supposed to assembly the engine as OEM but they has been unable to follow the quality standard of Micantech.
Finally Micantech decided to assembly the engines by themselves.
    And the result is here.
Lot of chinese manufacturers make announcement of 11Kw or 15 Hp but, for me 15Hp (or 11 Kw) it's 130 Km/h. NOT LESS
    If your 125cc is 110 or 120 Km/h, this is not 15Hp
And don't speak about aerodynamics. At this kind of speed aerodynamich has only low influence.
    This is just litterature.
An other web site about the M2:

DSC00246.jpgAfter testing of this bike, the feeling is incredible.
I have more than 40 years motorcycle riding experience, I have ridden almost all motorcycle major brands of this world and when I rode this bike, I got totally different feeling.

    1) When you are cornering, you don't feel the front separated from the back, you feel 1 piece.

    2) When you are cornering and braking at the same time, there is no reaction from the bike.

    3) The front brake is a floating disk over sized and when you block the front wheel, the bike continue going straight and don't fall down as a bike with front fork.
I believe this bike can be a very good racer.

    4) The engine take 13.000 RPM. Definitively this is not a chinese engine.

Is there somebody else having try this bike?

    What's your opinion?

    Do you talk to yourself?

No, seriously. I would like for this bike, along with the suspension system and Screamer engine, to become a mass product.

Do you have any contact with people from Micantech or with Mr. Marqueton?

    Here is their website,
    http://www.micantech.com/en/home.asp

They may have some engineering and racing experience, but they are not very good at marketing are they, the video is good though.

The website claims 170 European dealerships? Is the motorcycle available at the retail level, because if it is, it is not easy to find.

They lack what is lacking in the Chinese motorcycle industry in general, process engineering. Bringing a high quality product to mass production, requires process control at all levels. It cannot come out of bubbles in a research lab or within a race team. Without a process to bring it to the market in volume and with the high quality, it looses an opportunity in relative economy of scale, in another word affordability, it become a one off that cost too much, what is the suggested market price of the vehicle?
