Wonjan is part of China South Industry group, they are
Chongqing Wangjiang Industrial Co., Ltd. (CWIC)

They rank 29th overall in total production and 35th in exports.

It is actually a three party JV.
Look at their numbers they are not shrinking they are actually growing, both in production and also exports over last year. Both exports and production are up 75%.

Wonjan is currently holding the the 33 rank out of the top 50 producers in China.

They also made some changes on their website.
    http://www.wonjan.cn/

They have this bike front and center, however they advertise it on Alibaba with a 172FMM engine and then provide specification for a 250cc engine, the list the engine as the 172FMM and then that it is a 150cc with 10Kw for power.

There are not many images of the bike, its another CBR250R knock off, claiming it has a Suzuki engine and then not offering any accurate details is really bad adverting. Then they add all sorts of extraneous information pictures of people? Who cares! Even the detailed pictures are so bad.

Here is the actual specs of that engine.

I really doubt that the engine offers 13hp, the Haojue HJ150-9 and EN150 only have 11.4 and 11.9 hp and those are their top of the line 149cc offerings.

Wonjan really needs to change its business practices, they leave off any specification on the enterprise website and then their marketing channels are exaggerating the engines.

It is possible that this engine is different, but without some actual documentation and details it can be assumed it is not.

Wonjan has a feedback Q and A section on its website, it is in Chinese…

This comment I found humorous, or at least the translation.
I think the screen name choice is rather preemptive.

Hello! If you want to know the model parameters, you can contact the dealer or Wangjiang Marketing!

    Here's charming representative of Wonjan's low-end offer - WJ 50 C.

I've seen different versions of this design from several manufacturers, but this Wonjan's white has its own charm.

Well, not those, but countless Honda CD clones, as they call them - "Alphas".

This one is made out of same parts, but with different (sturdier) frame, tank, seat and side covers. Extra 50 bucks for this bike, how much they are more expensive than those CD clones, IMO, are money well spent.

I must admit that this design is not always as interesting as this Wonjan's. Most of them have no electric starter, spokes wheels with drum brakes, chrome fenders and that ridiculous crush bar, whose lower part is fixed to the cylinder - http://shuangshimotor.en.alibaba.com...motorbike.html .

Oh, not to forget: if we can believe what it says on Alibaba, Wonjan would sell even single WJ 50-C.

Yeah those are not bad, Wonjan and Jialing both make decent versions of that type bike and sell a lot of the them. Honda brought back the CD50 / CD90 in 1998 for domestic sale, not sure what years they made them after that though. The CD90 had 7.1 hp so it would zip along for sure.

There is that Thai manufacturer Tiger Motors, that makes a very nice replica. There website has been down for ever.

Could add another $150 and get a WJ100-H.
The WJ100-H has a cradle frame.

    Brand new - Wonjan WJ 300 R: http://wonjan.en.alibaba.com/product...e_WJ300R_.html

This "Space Ranger" is, excluding some small, easily fixable details, is adorable!

It looks to me that they used Kawasaki KLX 300 based engine (does someone else in China makes them except Loncin?), but still, "Wonjan" guys are insisting on the old "Suzuki engine technology" mantra.
