The 1949 design...is not that practical.

I am not sure about the single sided swing arm, but it looks like it offers rigidity on the drive side? But look it also only has a single fork in front? Not very balanced, but for it that may not matter that much?

The could certainly copy the engine case, its very appealing.

There are probably people contacting museums as this stuff is written, there is one for sure to copy, but that would cost too.

    Who's talking about replication?

My point is that Solo is not an original idea. Someone else has already created something similar, so there is no need to copy others (in this case - Hondas) technical solutions in order to get very interesting product.

About crankcase: IMO, it's easy with two-strokers. 4T is different story. However, Italians have succeeded and there to make something nice. Look how good look engines on Motobi's bikes such are Spring Lasting, Ardizio, Catria, Sport Special... Art of industrial design.

Man, this is deep off topic...

Let's try not to go completely astray, here's an interesting lightweight (well.... relatively) ZXMCO's underbone, rare as much as powdered nails are.

Another variation on the theme "Sachs Mad Ass", but this time - electric: Genata Wind Dream.

But coming back to the Sachs Madass, do any of you know a manufacturer of a Chinese copy?

BTW, the Genata Wind Dream comes with Iphone Interface - What the flip??!

Xiaofei, if you're looking for the opinions of others: choose a moped with larger wheels, 16-inch in particular.

This topic become a place for unusual two-wheelers...

Here's another one, which I discovered today - some Fuxin. In product portfolio of this company are almost exclusively ATV's.

    Interesting_Fuxin.jpg

If you ask me, they did a great job with this bike. No unnecessary details, frame sturdier of almost all cub-like bikes, longer wheelbase. Thumbs up, Fuxin!

Somehow, for me, these "pro-bikes", have their own appeal. At first glance, this Fuxin reminded me of Tomos Hip-Hop, but I quickly realize that this is something of its own kind.
