    Hi all,

Does anyone one know where I can get the owners manual for a Loncin 250 Jedi motorcycle?. Would really appreciate someones help. Also my bike starts to jerk at high RPM 7000 to 8000 RPM. Any ideas as to what this could be?

I think the majority of those are sold in South America, how is you Spanish? Or how is your Russian because M1nsk sells them as well.

Sold as a Zanella in Argentina and M1NSK in Russia

I am not sure sounds like a fuel issue if you opening the throttle and it starts to jerk.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I thought it was a fuel issue inicially too. Tried adjusting the carb screw and testing it out but it still started to jerk the same way at high RPM. I am starting to suspect that it might be an ignition problem. The vibration somehow affects the electronics possibly which causes the engine to switch on and off in the upper rev range. Is that possbile?

yes it could be and you can begin with your plug and work from there back and check or have a mechanic check, if you cannot. it could be just connections?

Yeah well she's due for her 4000km service so Ille pass on the info to the mechanic and let him sort it out. It's not serious in the end, the bike rides well despite this small problem. Will check those connections none the less. Also quick question.. I saw that post where you high lighted the 300cc engine made by Loncin which looks very smilar to the 250cc. I'm wondering if it will fit the Jedi frame?

Your bike has modified Suzuki GN250 engine, There is a Loncin GN300version of your engine.
I would bet that it would fit in your frame.

They use the GN300 in ATV's and also in a cruiser, they call a T-REX.

I am not recommending you contact these people, just for reference.

Be careful if you buy one that it is all forward geared.

Hehe, this dude is around the corner from me..literally! Might as well go and check it out and see if he will let me take it for a spin. Keen to see how much of a difference an extra 50cc will make. Not often you come across a 300cc, even 400's are pretty rare these days. I'm itching for more power. We have great high ways and plenty space to cruise at 120km plus on, shame to waste it on a smaller bike. Had a 200cc for a year, my 250 Loncin for 3 months now and I have to say it just aint big enough.. However in all fairness she's a neat little runner and gives me pleasure no end. I guess I would like a bigger second bike to put the wife on the back and head off into the distance easily. MJH you have been a great help, appreciate your input. I did check out those 300cc engines. Bye the way, is the loncin 250cc engine enhanced in any way compared to its susuki counter part?

That is so funny that the bike is so close to you.
The GN250 has two exhaust ports, your only has one. They did something there, the 300cc still has the two ports. If you get to test ride the 300ccc let us know what your impressions are.

Just got a mail from the guy..sold unfortunately, damn. Will look around some more.

My dealership this end (Motomia) claim 15kw on their web site for my Monza 250cc (same as the Loncin jedi just rebranded). Looking at the Loncin home page the Jedi specs rate it at 13.8kw. According to motormia mine is the updated engine. Was wondering how true it was, not sure the Loncin web site is up to date to be honestImage1110[1].jpg. Thought I would show you how the rebranding looked, this is my picture of the trusty steed. Think the red looks pretty cool, not a fan of the orange coloured Jedi's really.
