That's NOT a Shineray . Just one of "made to order" bike.
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=13205395554 Powered by Jialing is way better than Zongshen.

yeah its not the "long march" as such but a kind of copy

good bike apart from a bit of a problem with the subframe under the engine

easy to remedy with a bit of 4mm flat bar and an hour with a hacksaw, file and welder

mine just clocked up 13,000 km still going well

For me is interesting that the original Long March, bike with not a brilliant design and advanced mechanical solutions, has become a role model for the imitation for few manufacturers and... "manufacturers". I saw photos of Long-march-ish bikes with different brakes, suspension, engine... but with the same idea.

I think that this bike has the potential to be popular, but it is a shame that Shineray, as a big manufacturer, terminated its manufacturing.

This one definitely looks much better.

Would I better off getting a real Shineray? I just saw Zorge's post so I guess I can't get a real one.

The money is not really an issue, because I'm not going to buy till next spring.
