hey jok70, yeah bike is still available. Let me figure out how to hand over the papers and get you to take that bike. Give me a few days to make contact a few people. It's a bit complicated since my girlfriend just left China yesterday but we can get around this somehow.

Hi, JoK70.

The bike's ownership documents can be handed over to you sometime around the 6th of September.

The bike was starting just fine with kickstart. But the alternator is fried, easy to change though. but you have to be able to kickstart it to get it to a mechanic and change the alternator.

I drained the carburetor and disconnected it from the tank so it won't get all gummed up. The The gas tank is super easy to remove and clean, but I think that won't be needed cause I drained the gas.

So what did you have in mind? 4500 rmb sounds good to me.

Hello everyone..

How do we go about registering the bike if it's being sold in another province? Do I need to do anything else other than hand over all the papers? New owner wants to register in Mianyang.

it woud be interesting how to handle a expired registration... and what we have to prepare to do the registration smoothly

in the other case is it possible to renew the old registration without beeing there in person?

Yes, very possible. They don't care who goes to do inspection, so long as the person doing it has the registration papers. The caveat is that has to be done in Kunming, actually, in Anning, a small town just south of Kunming.
