CSC is not likely to offer these in that price range, their RX3 is under that price range @ $3,500.00
If they want to get any attention they would have to offer it for $2,500.00.

I think the price would need to be closer to $2,000 USD, rather than $2,500 USD. If the sale price is $2,000 USD, the final price will approach $2,500 after shipping costs are added.

Zongshen has a 279cc that offers, they claim up to 20.5kw, however it and its 250cc sibling are far less in cost then the NC250 ZS177MM, the NC250 is rated at 19.5kw where as the other two engines ZS170MM-2,177MM-2 family are at 16.5 kw and up to 20.5kw.

here are the numbers and wholesale prices of the engines.

This Zongshen model sells in Argentina under the brand name Corven, there they come with an OHV engine, standard front forks and are offered as a Triax 250 R3.

    22,290.00 ARS = 2,366.52 USD

Corven is also offering the RX3 as their Triax Touring and for over $6,000.00 USD.

Another nice engine they make is a bored and stroked version of the old two valve air cooled engine. 83 x 64.5 making it a nice torque engine and a simple swap. 350cc

The next bike we are likely to see out of zongshen is a 450cc version of the RX3?

The only model in production that uses the 450 is the M1NSK RX450

I was considering what CSC could do.
They should not import the copy of the the Honda Broz, simply because importing a copy will more then likely bring about a cease and desist letter from Honda. Importing copies of other manufactures is a violation of civil laws and you can be sued for doing so.

They may want to consider the M1NSK designs for importing. The RX250 and RX450, the TT is the wrong choice and goes in the wrong market direction, that being down market and it also is in violation of Honda design patents. Its a total loser it competes in the downmarket of cheap and cheaper, with little or no profit potential, small margins and then the potential to have to address Honda in court...not a good idea.

In that you go direct to Belarus and strike a deal through them to buy through them or in alignment with them out of Zongshen.

The best approach is that of working to establish purchasing alliances, M1NSK has strong ties to both Zongshen and Loncin. Theoretically a purchasing alliance could develop new models to bring to production through their OEM's. Adding others to the alliance would bring about larger orders and larger orders can control production, that being a new design would be embraced by any OEM if intents are there to purchase.

I doubt the image is right for the RX450 if you review with a RX250 the only thing that changes between the two images are the decals

I think you are right the M1NSK has images out there of it that look like it is a DOHC, but they might have switched to this engine, who know the marketing people have no regard for which image they use. Didn't we go through this before and determined it was a Beta engine they were purchasing.

anyway the new engine is called a NC450 and looks identical to the NC250.

I think that all of the Zongshen water cooled engines on that site look like older SOHC KTM engines, not exact copies though, but allot of them look to have similarities to older KTM engines.

The Zongshen 450 design reminds me a little of the Yamaha XT660 in terms of head design. 450 on left and 250 on the right.

Now to see this 450 in the Megelli would be nice, twin discs at the front, alloy swingarm and wider wheels would be a nice combo.
