    I think that they could make a mono-shock version of the Z-One, basically carry the design elements of the Z-One onto their Z150-38CII (Jaguar) with the 223cc engine, they should work on tuning that engine Hero is now getting 20hp out of their version of it...they could knock the Honda CB300 off it, that being make it lookl less like the Honda and spend some capital on getting more hp out of the 223cc OHC.

    Zongshen Brazilian operation will offer up a version of the Megelli, as their Kasinski Comet 150SR.

    Motorcycle sales in Brazil are down 10% for 2013 over last year, however Kasinski sales numbers are off by 58%....the operation there is a joint venture between Hyosung and Zonghsen.

    Awkward missteps are nothing new, the combination line under an odd name, the new offering of the Comet 150SR is not on the website. I believe they sell both imports and assemble some in Brazil...retail prices are high.

    I am hoping we will get the RX3 in the US. These small displacement sport bikes are ok, but are not on my shopping list. I like any size dual-sport/adventure, etc. bikes, and the RX3 would fit the bill nicely. I already spoke to one distributor out of California, but he has plenty of TMEC 200s, as well as the profit margin is not as big on motorcycles and scooters as on the UTVs they distribute.

    Zongshen's Jaguar found its way into Zanella as their RX250 Sport.

    In addition to the Zongshen Z-one showing up as the New Zanella RZ20

    So they picked up some Zongshen manufactured bikes, but not anything with the 250cc water cooled engine, like the RX3.

    I could be wrong but it seems that Zongshen will be selling the bikes they make for Megelli in China as a Zongshen and leave the rest to be sold internationally under the Megelli or Minsk brand names.

    Or Megelli as brand may become History?

    I am not sure you should ignore that the brand name on the bike is Piaggio and not Derbi….just because the forum calls it a Derbi does not mean the Zongshen is being sold under the Derbi brand name, Piaggio does own Derbi, however they are not selling what is coming out of the Zongshen/Piaggio joint venture.
