I think it a good modification that would not cost very much,
here are some renderings, they definitely are considering a revision, the red one is best IMO looks like a budget Land Rover.

Loncin added the LX175-21 (CR1) or (CR5) to its export line of motorcycles.
They label it with both? I believe it is supposed to be CR5 and the CR1 is the 150 model.
The CR5 can be equipped with either a 180cc, 200cc or 223cc engine.
The 180cc is new and is rated at 14.1hp(10.5kw)/8500rpm, 13.5N.m/6500rpm

Quite a attractive bike that CR1. a bigger possible twin cylinder engine and a non chinese branded would make it sell well.

I wonder if Loncin sells any of its motorcycles under its own brand name anywhere other then in China?
I also wonder if the 250cc Jeda (GN250) being removed from their exported models website means anything, as will Loncin no longer be offering it?
The Loncin 250 bike is being sold through some of these brand names.

Loncin has a list of models on its export website and many of the bikes listed never get offered with the Loncin brand name, they all are sold with other brand names.
Nobody in the industry wants to commit to distributing under a Chinese manufacturers brand, simply because they do not want to be held hostage to that one manufacturer. Conversely the Chinese manufacturers do not want to allow another company to have a market lock on their brand name at distribution.
The current business model is not that sustainable, eventually the manufacturer end up confident enough to offer its products under its own brand, when that happens, then they will raise the prices to distributors and push them out, subsequently establishing their own systems of which they will have contractually invested equity in. They want these sub brands to succeed for now, but eventually they may simply kill them off.

I hear now several times about a CFMoto Twin adventure / dual sport bike.
But except rumors i never found any confirmation, animated pics, etc that gives the rumor any foundation. As i am curious ..... has someone it little more on that?SWM RS500R, R1200GS LC

Loncin did not copy the BMW engine, they sold space to BMW in Chongqing to manufacture the engine. From what I understand the agreement was that Loncin have access to the engine for implementation into their own model and subsequently they are limited to distribution of that model to China. They did not copy it they allowed BMW to set up manufacturing of the engine in their factory.
That manufacturing process of that engine, was managed by BMW and Loncin gained or should have gained relative manufacturing process technology from that venture.
