My Chinese is bad. I have the sticky parts list which is great, but I am lacking some verbs. Would anyone be so kind as to give me the Chinese for the following?

    1. Change the oil and oil filter.
    2. New air filter.

    Thanks!

When my wife is not around, I use Google translate:

    1。更换机油和机油滤清器。
    2。新的空气过滤器。

    TexasAggie,
Your sentence are shortened in daily life.
1.换机油和油滤 (Depends on where: Many Southerner calls "油滤" as 油芯/ 油隔 )
    2. 新空滤 (Depends on where: Many Southerner calls "空滤" as "风隔" )

Good man! I've also trained sweety to change my oil & filters, wash & wax the bikes, etc. Yeah, it is kinda crummy when she's not around and I have to get someone else to do it.

PS: Notice I've opted for the G-rated "When the wife is not around, I _________" Doing my part to keep MCM family-oriented.

    HumanBeing,
I am jealous of those such as you that have real bilingual Chinese and English skills. Been here 8 years and I have been with my Chinese wife for 6 years and my Chinese language skills still suck. My Chinese colleagues told me to quit trying to speak Chinese years ago as they had no idea what I was saying even when I knew what to say! My wife is the only one who understands my Chinese because she knows what I know and what I do not know. I just responded to motomatt with sample of my back up plan of using Google Translate in case no one else saw his request for help. When all else fails, it works better than nothing for me. Thanks for the correction. You and several others were much more qualified to respond.

    Lao Jia Hou,
Doing your motorcycle service work! You are a better man than I am! I counted myself lucky that I had my wife's help getting my license and the fact she even lets me have motorcycles here in China.
