I came across this through an internet search to see if Yingang got straightened out in the USA, this site was selling the naked 250 Yingang tried to bring to the USA.

YinGang Motorcycles - YG250NF - Free Shipping - Lowest Price
    ww.motobuys.com/yinyang-yg250nf-mass.html
Full Face Motorcycle Helmets ... GT250 Euro Sports Bike 2011! ... The GT250 is an entry level standard motorcycle that has features of a full size motorcycle, ...

These people just stuck the DF in its place, never even changed the specs, still has the specs for the NG250NF.

Here is the real deal, nobody liked the off the shelve cheap Chinese parts, it was the engine that got attention, the style works but take the engine away and its really a piece of shite.

This poor dealer may have gotten caught up in the slop and debauchery...stuck with a motorcycle that is not being offered by anyone that can comprehend procedural regulations, it seems apparent that some think they are above it?

The YG250NF is way better then the DF...but unfortunately they partnered with a group that was as insolent as well as inept and morally bankrupt, which they all are.

The US is pretty lax, its not that strict, but if everyone start abusing the system they will not break the system it only gets tougher and stricter. It will seek out the violator and punish them, then it will be more watchful and much more aggressive to all involved.

One bad apple, to many bad apples, they ruin it for everyone.

They will and are going after the offenders and they will basically bankrupt them in courts and run them out of the country. The offenders will claim it all as unfair and or unprecedented government intervention, when in reality it is their own ineptitude and basically the lack of knowledge of the markets, that and blatant disregard for the need to study the laws in any market before entering it. To abide by those laws not to figure out ways around them!

They see you and are watching you.

Scooter Depot seems to have edited the description of the new model.
The images they have now actually makes it look pretty good?

Here is a link to a query on 229cc engines off the EPA database. These are the specification of the 229cc engines that are issued certificates of conformity, you can see the ratings for the DF models they are all 11kW or 14.96hp, they over rate the power by 20.30% with the claim of 18.77 hp.

They in turn under rate the dual sport they offer claiming it only at 11.5 hp, when it has the same engine and all the engines in that class basically are the same and all of them are between 14-15hp. They offer about the same hp as a 200cc OHC engine but with a little bit more torque.

The D250 RTE-A does not show up in the 2012 EPA database, but the model names can be anything, its the actual specs and output that has to be the same as submitted on the EPA application. So if the EPA showed up at the warehouse in California to test these would need to fall into the range of the engine family that has a certificate.

The cost of one of these is $2,300.00 delivered to your home, if anything breaks in six month they will replace the part.

That is not cheap….may seem cheap to some but you can be sure that these are coming out of the factory for about one third of that price. So there is a hefty profit in there, then if so these people really should have some spare part support.

Things that need consideration are, the electrical and the brakes, gauges and related cables can break and then need to be replaced.

This dual sport is pretty standard and certainly not up for abuse, not bad for street and an occasional dirt road but taking it to a motocross course could be dangerous. If you did you should keep track of the nuts bolts and the integrity of the welds.

What needs to happen or at least should happen is a part store that details all the parts and the prices of them, they should only mark up parts marginally, because if consumer can see a cheap part supply it would drive sales much better then the current exaggerated prices they have on the models themselves.

If they want to have a retail price and then discount on that, then make the retail price realistic. Nothing over $3,000.00 is realistic for any of these in the engine class. The differences in prices should reflect real costs and also availability if they sell fast raise the prices in small increments, quarterly at 100-150 USD. If sales slow then lower them.

They have the parts lists for the bobbers online, but not prices and not connected to a shopping cart.

But most of the other models do not have parts lists online and they do not offer prices on any, which is not encouraging. If they want to increase the business then developing an Online part system that allows customers to order parts online would do that. They do not need parts warranties just low cost parts online.

Here is the parts list for the D250-RTA, you can see some parts are labeled 156FMI-2 and other labeled 163FML and other not, the labels show what is common with a 125cc version of the engine and also what is common with a 200cc version.

The D250-RTA is being cleared out, price delivered is $2,047.00

Hooper over rates the 163FML engine, I could point that out through Lifans website but they changed some links and broke the website.

They still have links to the engines but when you click on them, its brings up nothing. It is very common for them to break the website. It could be hackers the number of hackers in china is huge.

I would like to see DF offer a CG250 standard, make it a base level bike just like this bike. But add a double caliber disk in front the drum brake in back is fine. Also add fork sleeves in front. Make sure it has nice gauges, a tachometer, speedometer with a gear position indicator.

Offer them for $2,000.00 delivered, that is a fair price. Offer a complete list of parts and prices for each part, then once established in the market begin then selling custom parts for the bikes.

Parts that can change the bikes appearance,

It seems to me that someone concluded the same thing not so long ago.

Although, large diameter TLS drum brakes would be much nicer and not less useful detail.
