Zhuhai, GuangDong province, South China has a circuit that hosts cars and bikes races on a regular basis.

Here some pics from the 2007 SBK round.

First James Dawson, alias Jimbo, a british stunt man.

For your eyes only, one or three more pics.

Was travelling this day so all the pics are from the wife. Isn't she kind?

Wife's camera and pics. The setup was Canon EOS 300 + Sigma 18-200 DC.

We use the Sigma for our Sichuan trip last year and because we were often in movement few pics are a little blur so Wife bought a Canon 70-300 IS USM in Hong Kong at Xmas. Image Stabilizer is really a good feature when you can't use a tripod or need to shot moving target.

Now she wants a Canon 18-xxx IS lens to replace the Sigma lens and to stick with just one set of filters. So we have also a Sigma to sell...

Yes we were looking also at Sigma at the time because the price are competitive but we've got a good deal in HK and the reviews were favorable to the Canon.

I think she want something like a 18-70 or 18-120 (i'm not a specialist) to have better rendering on short/medium range pics instead of pushing the zoom at its limits.

Photos gear are limitless, budget is higher than bike...

Those are some great pics indeed. I didn't know they had an SBK track that was so active. I was doubly interested in seeing Miss WuXia, the ladies here are something else. Wouldn't be surprised if she was a good racer too. Did you get a sense of how she was skill wise?
