Any suggestions on how to make a blanking plate for the SAI removal on an XF200?

1/8" aluminum plate using the gasket as a pattern.

I used a hacksaw to rough it out and a file to smooth it.

I'll try the same, maybe use the jig saw at first. Thanks for the advice.

I made my own cheap exhaust for my QM200GY engined Yamaha DT.
I fabricated the downpipe from car exhaust tubing. For the silencer, I fully emptied the stock Qingqi silencer and cut it shorter. I managed to find some tubing which was perfectly sized to make a slip-on joint between the downpipe and the silencer. I made a perforated pipe out of vacuum cleaner's chromed pipe by drilling holes in it one by one. It was easy to fit as these tubes have bigger diameter part in one end. I left the catalyzer tube in the stock exhaust but slammed the honeycomb thing out of it to let the gases flow free. The vacuum cleaners tube fitted perfectly on it with it's bigger diameter end and the other end fitted the hole in the endcap, I just had to measure and cut the tube to fit the length perfectly. After all this was done, I put my handmade perforated tube in the silencer, slammed a lot of exhaust wool between the tube and the shell. After that I fitted the endcap and the thing was all ready to go.

It's really quiet when idling and its also quiet when cruising slowly. When accelarating, or riding on more than 1/3 of throttle, it starts to scream a bit. I would record a vido of my bike riding but I dont have anyone who can handle the camera without screwing the video up...
