I just got back from a 3 month stay in Guilin, cut short from a year due to visa issues. While I was over there I had a Qingqi GS125 that was a blast to ride. Its definitely a fun experience riding over in China. I've been wondering since I've been back in the US if there was a place to get another one but so far I haven't found anything about how to get one here. Has anyone done such a thing or is there someone selling them here?

    Here's a shot of my old GS125-

I am near 100% certain you will never be able to import one direct from China; the federal government has cracked down, via the EPA, on all Chinese bikes starting in '06 or so. Any bike has to have EPA certification at the least (off-road) and EPA/DOT for on-road bikes.

The only Qingqi bikes currently in the US are the 200cc XF/XP 200 sold by Qlink. However, these are motard/ dual-sports. A retailer out of California who sells the Qlink brought in 4 or 5 Qingqi branded 250cc bikes last year. Those are pretty much the only Qingqi bikes I know of, although Shandong Pioneer, who are somehow related to Qingqi will be selling a very similar bike to the Qlink bikes via SSR Motorsports. Other than that, you should join us on Chinariders.net due to the majority of us living in the US/Canada versus the more international community here; that way, you can get to know what brands and bikes are
actually certified and sold in the US.

You would have trouble registering a GS125 in the USA.

The closest thing to that legaly sold in the USA is offered by Keeway, the Speed 150 uses that same frame but it has a honda type engine. If you can track one of those down then you could add the GS125 parts to it, you could get those shipped to you from china.
