Hi there, I am new to the group. I picked up this nice clean Zongshen engine but no nothing about what it came off of, what size engine or anything about it. I was wondering if someone in the group could help me out...Dan

One thing is clear - this is Zong's 150cc CB clone. IMO, because kick starter was omitted, I would assume that the engine was taken from a small ATV, and because of that, it has reverse gear.
Ask me nothing - I DO NOT speak english. Really...

    Thanks Zorge,

Do you have any guesses as to what I could mount this engine on? The numbers on the engine are ZSDY0108 and ZS162FMJ.

    Should fit these...
    • CM200
    • CRF150
    • CRF230
    • SL175
    • TLR200
    • TR200
    • XL175
    • XL185
    • XL200
    • XR185
    • XR200
    • SL100

The engine share mounting points, according to these people, all the engines are of the same family does not matter what brand, this link is for lifan branded, but they would be the same.

    Thank you very much MJH,

If you happen to run across any detailed info on this engine I would really appreciate it. You have made my day!

Not positive but believe it would be real close to a CRF150 which would be real close to the CRF230?
Yours is an OHC engine and the CRF150 had different engines over the years, some OHV and the later water-cooled. Yours would be the engine that is OHC and close to the OHC223cc Honda offered at the same time?
