I have not heard of X motos, but there's so much crap being bolted together in this country it's hard to stay on top of what is and isn't available. Judging by your assembly line photo, they look like the usual parts bin bike with little or no R&D involved. Look at the factory... no safety equipment, no work instructions, parts strewn about all over with no organisation. How can someone build a quality product in an environment like that?
They kind of look decent, but you know the old saying about lipstick on a pig?
Cheers!

I had the chance to see X-motos in German Ebay. From what I could understand, they are simply a compilation of components available in the Chinese market. Nothing more than that.
Ask me nothing - I DO NOT speak english. Really...

As other posters have commented already there are companies that do not really manufacture motorcycles from the ground up themselves. Instead these companies assemble motorcycles, buying off the shelf parts made by other companies that manufacture various components. It's a huge business model, and there are lots of these specialised manufacturers throughout China though most are centred around ChongQing, where 50% of Chinese motorcycle manufacturing is concentrated. On the China side, I personally have never seen these bikes, which is not to say they aren't available, just that if they are maybe they can only bought on Alibaba (which is a selling platform for international trade) versus Taobao (which concentrates on domestic sales). The bikes might be available through a "normal" bricks and mortar store, but more likely a small enterprise. Certainly I've not seen any at my local neighbourhood motorcycle shops.
This means it's highly likely that these bikes have little in the way of R&D and little to no follow up or after sales support. Even if they do it won't be smooth sailing. Oh, and please don't place too much reliance on photos, because in China photos are easy to come by and are really easily manipulated or staged. Better yet photos are often stolen and altered to suit the purpose. The only way to know for yourself is to see it first hand with your own two eyes, see behind the charades, speak the language, understand the cultural mindset and then divide the result by half.
For nothing in China is what it seems, everything is just for looking, beAware the smoke and mirrors - my proverb.
YMMV

That frame and those forks look like Asiawing ones. If it has more Asiawing components, beware.

09-02-2012, 03:33 PMYou are rigth! They use the same motors as Asiawing in the 250 & 450 models. But if you go thru alibaba xmotos.en.alibaba.com you will see a video of the factory that its bigger than other factories. Also in moto8.comare areporte from one importer in Taiwan who visit the factory.I cant said is real or better than others but looks profesional. This brand is knows in Canada,Germany,Australia,Spain,Portugal,Italy & South America. Its strange that in China nobody see one! They have the xz250 in aircooled, watercooled 2v & 4v motors a complete line( Wich i dont see in others brands) in mx,sm,en.XB-37ZS250-4.jpgXB-37NC250-3.jpgA2258069.jpg

Its not that strange, some manufactures only export what they manufacture or they have two lines one for export and the other for domestic sales. It is only the brand names that are not in china, the frames and engines are likely plying around tracks in china someplace?
Those are aluminum frames and likely there is one or more sources that are making them, its big country.
All the engines in the three bikes you listed are different, the first is a air cooled and less then 249cc, the second is the Zongshen 249cc water cooled SOHC 4-valve and is the engine Asia wing also has in some of the marketing images I have seen of their 250 motocross model.

I cannot identify the engine in the GPX? Its not the 4-valve Zongshen from what I can see.
The GPX is offered in Thailand under ATV Panther?
