12-12-2008, 11:01 AMApart from being an extremely simple, elegant and well laid out personal web page, Carl Salters site is well worth visiting for his section on workshop, service and some users manuals.
Click on "Free manuals". You'll be amazed at what he has on line. Literally hundreds of free manuals for download. This is altruism at its best. I think he pays for the considerable bandwidth he uses, although there are a few discrete Google ads.
As he says:"I do not own the copyrights to these books, but neither do others that sell them on ebay...".
There are no Chinese bikes there yet, but I note that a lot of you have other Japanese or European bikes.

Fantastic array of owners and service manuals! I donwloaded the XV250 (like the Lifan 250) owners manual and it was all jpgs in Spanish. Then downloaded the DL650K4 service manual and it was a PDF in English. Looks like he's spent a LOT of time to collect a massive mixture of everything he could find on the net.
The owners manuals shouldn't be a big problem legally but the service manuals may cause him some liability. Either way, he's doing a good service and hope it stays up!
