I thought it was Rotax, because, to them, it is closest factory of motorcycle engines, but it is not - it is Sherco's 510 engine.

Excellent use of quotation marks :D

I have been cool beans regarding the bike a few days. It is about once in a life chance to get awesome brand new classic bike. Yet I have a bike, The poor Pony. I can't keep two bikes.

They say first love, last love. It can be that I am troubled by that. All I know is that I want that MZ, but how I can abandon Pony, who has faithfully answered to all my needs, and who took me to Nordkap and back?

I think I am taking a timeout regarding the MZ and secretly wishing someone else would buy it, so that my problems would go away without me doing anything. On the other hand, that would keep me missing MZ and bitching of other bikes.

No matter how much I think about it I always get into the same conslusion: get the MZ.

The blue one is still "in the game"?

While you negotiate, keep dreaming - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fp7h_VksGw

Got a new info of the unused MZ for sale in Finland.

It was made for the head of vocational school for ministry of interior (STASI?) as a "post" bike. Meaning that you were able to get the bike because of your job and position. The dude got a car and bike because of his job and position. He never used the bike.

The bike has been in Finland with the same MZ rider since 1990.

Uhuh, would be about the time to put the poor MZ for use it has been designed and let it roam happily on the Finnish country side!

No, ministry of interior was MdI (Ministerium des Innern).

Come on, hurry up with the purchase, I have a little gift for you.

Go to the bike and make an offer, but be prepared to go up in price if it what they say it is its worth more then other similar used models of that bike, the circumstances make it a good find. That bike is a collectable to some people and if they see it they will act fast on it.

Thank you very much, I have archived the archive you sent earlier here. The funny thing is that I had that Haynes manual myself as original print. No idea where it is now though. All I know is that I don't have it.

Well, the thing is that I don't have a job

Else I would had already bought the bike.

Tomorrow my wife's mom come to Finland from U.S.A., and we go to her parents for two weeks. I have to drive my wife and her mom around Finland. But when not driving them around I shall really make those job applications fly here and there. So far I haven't sent any. Time to get started on that for MZ

Anyway, I have made a deal that I will come meet the MZ in the spring even though I can not buy it at the moment

Here is another very cool picture of original MZ sidecar he had and sold not long time ago.

Man, getting both this sidecar and the MZ would had been über beyond words.
