Networking is meeting like minded people, building relationships, discussing ideas that are potentially mutually beneficial to all parties - thanks...

So what's on offer in Shanghai (or China), another rider training or workshop out at Tianma Circuit / F1 Track? Details would help somehow....

What Shanghai -- and all of China -- could really use is a basic rider safety course, like that offered by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation in the US and other countries. Kneedragging skills are great, but basic maneuvering, safety and defensive driving skills should come first -- and are sorely needed!

I suppose the vehicle management bureau feels it already has this covered with the training and licensing system it currently has in place. But wouldn't it be great if someone offered a quality basic riding and safety course that was taught by skilled, conscientious riders! It would take thoughtful marketing to build a following, but I hope someone tries. Hint, hint...

    Welcome Mark

I completely agree with Euphonius' suggestions about a well-organized Basic Riding Course. The premier motorcycling publication in China has been strongly advocating such an undertaking. It sponsors an annual all-girls long-distance ride, as one way to promote "recreational motorcycling for all". Most of these girl-riders have never ridden before and are "trained" by highly skilled riders/coaches from the military, before embarking on their journey. However, one of the most common comments from non-participants in Chinese forums (about these annual runs) is "how can I also receive some quality training?"

all great but thats down under in OZtralia, the big question still remains, what's on offer for Shanghai and China as everything works mostly in mysterious ways over here, rider / safety training at the well known tracks or...???
