You guys already know my story and where I am from. A few AZ riders on other sites, but none from Yuma. Will have to get a bike and actually ride the rest of the state to find other AZ riders! (Southern California, too--I visit family in the greater metro L.A. area (including Ventura County) Could ride bike that way one of these trips...

No but I did look it up on Google Earth. Looks like a lot of sand man! How'd you end up there and what's the 3:!0?

This will probably be a trivia question, but in 1957 there was a movie called "3:10 to Yuma." Yuma has a historic prison dating from when the wild west was here called the Yuma Territorial Prison. Arizona did not become a US state until 1911, and was a territory until then (hence, not called a "State" Prison).

the movie was about a prisoner who was to be taken by train, the 3:10 (as in o'clock) leaving from another part of the territory to Yuma. The outlaw tries to have his band of outlaws help him escape, and the guy bringing him is not a lawman, but a rancher who could use the money and is deputized.

Last year, there was a remake with special effects, and it did okay at the box-office. I haven't seen either...
