    Hi guys

Im looking at changing the front sprocket on my Lexmoto LSM 125.

Ive not checked but I believe it is a 14 or 15 tooth front sprocket.

Im told if you put a sprocket on with more teeth you lose a bit of acceleration but you dont have to change gear as frequent and you get a bit more speed flat out.

Would it be best to go for the 16 or 17 tooth ?

    Thanks

You are correct, your bike will be able to do the same speed as before at less RPM which will give you a few extra MPH on your top speed and give you better milage too. A 17 tooth would probably be a bit too much without any serious performance mods such as a 150cc big bore kit so it would be best to change to a 16 tooth and see how it goes.

You can get one from the link below for almost half the price of the one that llexeter is selling

You probably should read the measurment guide in the auction description to make sure that it is the right one.
Sinnis Max II (QM125-2V), K157FMI engine (technically a K162FMJ now), 115 main jet, 40 pilot jet, cone air filter, 150cc big bore kit, 17 tooth front sprocket, 30mm carburettor, alarm with remote start, HID spotlights, performance CDI.

How's the new sprocket treating you? Been considering doing this, but worried i'll loose too much acceleration. So, how much have you gained? worth doing? For 4.50 i'll probably get one either way though lol.

Ive got the sprocket but not fitted it yet.
Pick a Kawasaki z750 up this week so the Lexmoto is being sold.
Not sure I will bother changing the sprocket now but will give it to the new owner in case they want to change it.
