U must count ur links or u have a bad surprise. Already to links make a big difference. E.g. on a X2 u can't use the same chain with 48 and 52 teeth sprockets. The adjustment range at the swing arm is too less. On ur given front/rear sprocket set u will have specific chain length. I made that experience already.

The summer is about to start and I figured it would be best to check the oil temp from time to time. Last year the bike would get really hot on a hot day (in the city). So, first check after a few hours riding with last 30min through traffic oil temp was 105. That was a rather cool day.
Second check on a 26 degree ambient temp the oil was 112 degrees. Its a bit much and the real summer isnt even here yet. Decided to put oil cooler on.
Not tested it yet as I changed tires at the same time and managed to pinch a tube :( will check it next weekend

Been riding all day yesterday and today and happy to say that the oil temp now is about 85 degrees. Unfortunately that filter cover doesnt seal properly and there is an oil leak. Lost around 300ml yesterday. Gonna have to seal it somehow.

But still, pleased with this mod.

I saw your bike when I was helping one of my colleagues moved in that area, and was thinking it would be cool to own one! Didn't know it belong to someone from here. Good luck with selling it !
