    No legal crf250 in China.
It would need homologation and the small sales expectation makes that mindless in China.
I had asked in official Honda dealership in BJ.
Via TaoBao I figured out that they buy a very crappy 5k RMB CRF copy with same appearance that can be plated somewhere in a province and then change the CRF VIN. So you get a province plate from WTF knows where. Rest is then ur problem.

Well, TIC so you need to swallow that tax if you want reliability.

390DUKE is less than RMB20000 in India and here its RMB48000 although its made in ASEAN as is the CRF. There are no clear rules here

That why asked Mordon for contact details so I can check it out .
But what you are talking about if the main Honda agent starts to sell the range.
But people can import as a private import and will be legal is that not the case with these small number of bikes which is not sold by the main agents in China.? I could be wrong.

I did last year bring the CRF over to China for a few days with
My Yamaha YBR plate on the bike no problems with the border or custom .
Just to see if it can be done and it can the YBR looks a bit like the CRF lol

Bike is plated and left in North Thailand ,just about to fly down for the winter and more great riding on the Honda.

Love the bike good off road and good on tarmac.
Just to let you know the price in Thailand for this bike is about 23.000 Rmb on the road tax paid ?
If you find out the company I can go and check them out and report back?

Those Hondas in Thailand are made there and you can get Thailand made Honda 190and 300 easily in China but not considered F version ...... R version but not so much a true R but you sit more upright.

I had my wife call the seller since she speaks fluent Chinese. They told her that it is not road legal in mainland China but they could register it under the vin of a Chinese look alike bike and plate it for you and said we would not have any problems.

    So IDK
