if they dont consider the correct coefficient of the used materials they have a problem.
no matter whether the steel grade is suitable for this application.

Where is GW group exactly located?
Passion Moto (PM) is on the south perimeter road at GoldenPort Raceway. Call owner at 133 8144 6789 for specific directions. It is an independent importer of legal bikes, including BMW, Triumph, etc. It currently has a limited edition Guzzi & the Diesel Jeans Ducati (each are new, legal) sitting in its shop. A new, legal F800GS is low 200s plus tax, plates, etc. PM had two remaining in stock last week - it had six in March.

A shop in South Beijing (Fengtai) also has a couple of illegal F800GS (around 100K+) - but the skid plate on one had salt stains (someone had tried to remove/hide most) - salesperson said it came out of an auction in Japan (draw your own conclusions). Check weifengtang.com for more listings.

"GW group" is a riding group of GW250 owners - we get together for weekly rides. At the beginning of last week's ride out to Pinggu, I selfishly convinced them to first stop by Passion Moto to check on the F800GS bikes.

Just want to let you know....
I picked up another brand new X5 from the dealer last days.
This time the gear switches good so far. But it seems these bikes have a general problem.

Both bikes, old and new, have a smooth clutch as long as the engine is cold. While the engine/clutch/gearbox heat up they start to get a rough clutch behavior feel like the chain jumps over the sprocket. You can hear and feel it.
The chain was checked and is OK. Not too loose, not too tight, no damages.

After talking to my German Expert I learned it might be a problem with the clutch tolerances. The steel friction discs might stuck in the clutch basket because the heat expansion of the parts. Anyway it is a heat related thing. As soon as the engine is cool again its gone.

As soon as I have time I will disassemble the clutch and follow my friends advice to measure all parts and check where are too tight dimensions. The use a fine file to improve. Let's see if it works ... keep you updated

Does the technicians here have some tips for me?

    Hi ShuBen,

I discussed the clutch thing with a friend... He rides a JH600 and had similar issues in the past. He found out that in his case it was the oil... Not sure... maybe worth checking?

... As soon as I have time I check the thing with changing the oil type. Thanks to Snev313. And the same advice I got from my German Expert too.
Now I am waiting to get the bike plated back. Should be done by tomorrow.
