Silly question, but do the performance CDI boxes do what they say? Can the CDI also be reprogrammed as well?

If they say that those CDIs modify... how to say... "ignition curve" - then they are telling the truth.
And yes, beside few pre-programmed... "ignition curves", they can be reprogrammed.
Just wait for fresh "humabeing"s Taobao links. Those CDI units are more than affordable.Ask me nothing - I DO NOT speak english. Really...

I've ordered a performance one (6pin) of ebay £9 from redcicles. Hopefully it lifts the limiter and adds some oomph higher up.
Would like a better one with some control from taobao, but I'm struggling with the website, be good if they could explain things for the european market to order stuff as google translate is not being helpful, as soon as I go onto a new link such as add basket, it stops translating as I've seen a few parts that I would like.Lexmoto XTR-S 156FMI (156cc big bore) - 163FML Cams (+1mm lift) - Foam Filter - Sports Exhaust - 17T Sprocket - 110 Main Jet - PZ30 Carb - Aprillia RS Ignition Coil - Casoli CDI

03-18-2013, 01:15 PMTo order stuff from Taobao you need to use an agent which is a company that handles the ordering process and international shipping for you. This is because most sellers on Taobao can't accept international payments. I use Taobaonow as they offer reduced shipping rates and they have good customer service. When ordering you copy the web address of the item you want to buy on to their ordering page, pay the cost of the item and the postage to the agent, when they get it they will re-package it if nessesairy, weigh it and you then pay the international postage. The international postage is quite expensive for heavy items so keep that in mind.
I'm not sure why but humanbeing has linked you a ignition coil. Here are some CDIs that should fit your bike if the redcircles one dosen't work. Your bike is a CBF125 clone right?

Thanks, will look into it. Yep a CBR clone. Will find out tomorrow when CDI comes.
Looking for aggressive cams as well for the 156fmi.
Any bigger carbs fit on, as the stock one is a 26mm from my measurement the other night. If a bigger adapter to engine and carb would be fitted then a bigger carb could be a possibility.Lexmoto XTR-S 156FMI (156cc big bore) - 163FML Cams (+1mm lift) - Foam Filter - Sports Exhaust - 17T Sprocket - 110 Main Jet - PZ30 Carb - Aprillia RS Ignition Coil - Casoli CDI

CG/CB type: http://www.sanxin.com.cn/Exhibit/exhview.asp?pid=55
"Programmable" needs this type: http://www.sanxin.com.cn/Exhibit/exhview.asp?pid=62
CBF125's bore is 52.4mm. His bike is stamped as 156FMI, which suggests it's similar to the good old CB125J.

03-18-2013, 01:56 PMYou can fit a bigger carb without an adaptor, I changed mine from a 26mm to a 30mm and it fit pretty well. I belive you have a PZ26 by default and a PZ30 should be a direct replacement. With a bigger carb you will lose some low end but gain some top end power. Getting the jetting right will be a little difficult however, it was fairly easy on my bike because I already had a 150cc big bore kit installed but with a 125 it might take a fair bit of trial and error to get it spot on.
