    Dear Modron,

Nice find! Those fake Pelican fakes actually look quite good, and the price is great. I think I paid 500 rmb each for my Wandefu fake Pelicans.

    cheers!

Nice find modron, those boxes might just end up making their way onto my too! If only someone made a good rack for the qingqi...

Regarding getting stuff in and out of them, firstly it's no easier with the adlo boxes, secondly you can just 3 kuai reusable supermarket bags or similar as liners. That way when you park your bike for the night you can just carry the two bags to your room, and leave your tools and whatever else locked in the boxes.

Those caribou box liners are super cool, but at $45 they have no place on my bike...

I bought these boxes already, they should arrive soon. I know they will be too big probably for my YBR but i can work around that ;) I like them cos they have 4 clamps to hold everything inside. Once i get them ill write few words about quality.

    Felix, try this guy http://shop60546848.taobao.com/?spm=...00126.3.XG7Yi8
when I talked to him he said he will build rack for YBR even though he didnt have it. Maybe he can build one for you too.

I received the boxes few days ago. They seem pretty strong and durable, a little rough edges but nothing really serious. I never saw pelican boxes but i heard that you can drive a car over them and they wont brake. Well I wouldnt recommend doing so with these ones but you can easily jump on them and they will be fine. Ive checked the waterproofness in the shower and it seems ok ;)

They are big though! its going to be hard to put them on my ybr, especially cos my bike is still on warranty and I dont want to lower the exhaust. There will not be quick release for me, they will be fixes but its ok since ill only use them on this trip and then take down
Still need to figure out a way cos my holiday starts soon ;)
will post some pics once done
