I'm a very old biker arrived in Chongqing in March and I'm working at the Sichuan International Studies University as a teacher of Italian.

The lack of the bike is a pain. I hope to buy a bike to be able to enjoy my vacation days.

Is there anyone in Chongqing with a passion for motorcycles?

    Hello professore.

If you're Italian, I really believe that you, beeing without bike, felt physical and mental pain.

    Hello Zorge,

You are right, expecially because my hometown is Palermo where I can drive my bike all over the year.

    Palermu?

    Il Siciliano!

First of all, my condolences for last sunday's game - it is not a shame to lose from the Vecchia Signora especially on Turin.

    Dear Orzolen,

Greetings and welcome to MyChinaMoto. Unless people have moved on, there should be a small circle of MCM members who reside in Chongqing. I hope you can find each other. There is fantastic riding to be had outside of CQ, whether for just a day or a week or a month. And of course you are at the epicenter of China's motorcycle industry. It's also good that you are teaching, as this means you'll have long-term residency, which will make it a lot easier to get a license and proper registration for your bike.

My one concern arises from your comment that you are a "very old biker," since China does impose age limits on both drivers and riders -- a topic that was covered in MCM a couple of months ago.

If you've got your residence permit or other visa with six months or more of validity, start working on getting your license as soon as possible! And let us know how you get on.

    Cheers
